Oscar Rodriguez

Oscar Rodriguez was born in Edinburg, TX and raised in Pharr, TX.  In 2003 he graduated from the University of Texas-Pan American in Edinburg, TX, majoring in Chemistry with a minor in Biology.  Before attending the University of Illinois in 2006, Oscar worked for a water supply company in south Texas from 2003-2006.  Like others in the Lisy group, Oscar’s research includes using mass spectrometry and IR spectroscopy to study non-covalent interactions of alkaline metal ions, most recently clusters of Li+ (CH4)n. Oscar’s hobbies include watching and analyzing baseball, boxing, and the Dallas Cowboys.
